☞หนังวัวฟอกด้วยสารจากพืชจะเปลี่ยนสีไปตามกาลเวลา: 
สารแทนนินในสารฟอกหนังจะเกิดปฏิกิริยาออกซิเดชันเมื่อสัมผัสกับแสงอัลตราไวโอเลตและสารอื่นๆ
